Hi James,
Just a heads up, yesterday I spent a few hours working with Chad over at Targus. At the conclusion he had me do a firmware update from 0694 to 9084 at that point my laptop was unable to detect the Targus dock (in the Device Manager it would flash back and forth, there a second and then gone) . If you would like I can send you the transcript of the process of steps that he had me try. When we concluded, he asked me to send him the support tool file that you see here. I would try updating the USB3.0 eXtensible Host Controller to version 6.3.9600.17031 dated 2/21/2014 from Microsoft. This may be it but I actually suspect an incompatibility with the nViidia graphics. I am not sure what to suggest if that is at issue. DocKtor |
