Hi Ian,

PID 0x8060 is usually bad news, it indicates a hardware malfunction.

Please read http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=324, if it persists with that PID then the manufacturer needs to give you a replacement.

Not sure if the chain of adapters will work, it really depends on the specific product and adapters.
