Hi,

It maybe that you need to install the latest graphics driver direct from Intel.

As a first step please download the latest update for the Surface tablet:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downl....aspx?id=38826

If that doesn't help then I'd recommend downloading the latest Intel graphics driver from here:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/conf...&Dwnldid=23884

See this link for how to install the graphics driver on your system:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033915.htm

Thanks,
James

Thanks for the suggestions James however I was sure to update to the latest drivers last week, and re-confirmed today with the links you provided. My machine runs 100% stable until I plug into the hub mentioned above. It seems to me that there still compatibility issues with the combination of DisplayLink Drivers and other hardware/drivers...

When my combination is running (as in not crashing) it is great! Continual stability issues however are becoming a deal breaker...

Hey,

We have about 10 Surface Pro 2 in use and don't have these issues. Can you upload the mini dump so I can take a look and see what's causing the BSOD?

You'll find it in C:\Windows\Minidump by date and time.

Cheers,

Default System Refresh

As it would happen I had to do a complete system restore (from factory image) yesterday. I will see how it goes now that I am up and running again, and with all the latest drivers. If there are any issues then I will let you know.

My setup is different now too.. for the time being. Before the recent complete system restore I was operating with up to 2 external monitors and 1 HDTV, in this condition my Surface Pro 2 would freeze and reboot after a few minutes. I also noticed that with only 1 external monitor connected that the external screen would freeze however the Surface would revert back to its own screen, without crashing. Now with operating under a full system restore I will see what happens for both cases (1, 2 or 3 external displays).

Thanks for the reply!
