That is very disappointing to hear ... I was (and probably DisplayLink) was hoping 10.8.1 would fix these issues. Looks like a Time Machine restore to 7/26 is in my near future. DisplayLink is one of many vendors not properly ready for Mac OS X 10.8

It has been such a PITA the past three weeks. I do not even use my 2nd external monitor driven by DisplayLink device now.
