Hi,
I would get in touch with the manufacturer of your WUSB product as these use a separate audio part. That aside, I would: - Check the device is set to the the default audio playback device - Try other HDMI ports on your TV Thanks, James |

Thank you James for responding.
Let me repeat the issue since it has disappeared for unknown reason. I'm using Imation wireless AV extender on 2 of my Vaio machines. One machine has win xp and the extender works fine on its environment and the other machine has win 8.1 where the extender displays crisp video but the audio comes out only from laptop. I tried to follow the steps in the link below yet the problem still exists with audio. http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=346 As suggested by James.. - I set the TV to be the default audio output - tried different HDMI ports but still video is good but audio is from laptop. In the link above, it's highly recommended to update the display link software before windows upgrade which I fortunately missed. Is there a way to make sound play from TV and not laptop. |
