Missing Display Resolution

I have 1440 x 900 monitors.
I want to reduce them to 1280 x 800 for readability reasons.

When I try and change the resolutions it cannot be found.

It can be found on the main laptop screen (Dell 3700 with intel HD driver) but I cannot set either external monitor to 1280 x 800.

The only wide screen option is the max resolution.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
