Amazing that no one's commenting on when they plan to fix this. We've supplied screenshots, steps to reproduce, and logs. What more must we do to enable you to do your jobs in making stable software?

I know this may not help everyone but I contacted the manufacturer of my USB dock (Warpia) explaining this issue and they have agreed to send me a replacement dock free of charge. We'll see if it could be a hardware fault with the dock itself.

I've been using a new dock (tested working according to Warpia) and it has done the exact same thing. I did find however that only connecting one extra monitor (so laptop screen + one 24" monitor via DVI) will make it work without fail. The minute I plug in my second monitor (DVI to HDMI adapter) it will do the sporadic disconnect.

Hi all, here's another suggestion: I had two displays, one connected DVI to DVI port on my USB dock + monitor 2 using DVI from the monitor -> dvi to hdmi adapter -> hdmi port on the dock. So I changed the DVI cable with hdmi adapter to an HDMI cable (no adapters) and i've worked for three hours with no disconnects.
