Well, although it's not what I wanted to hear it does make sense - just glad to know what is wrong.
Thanks a bunch! |

Hi, I'm having a similar issue on a Mac: I'm using the same IOGEAR with the latest DisplayLink driver for OSX Mountain Lion to run a 2nd external display off my Late 2010 Macbook Air.
Although I've confirmed with IOGEAR that I have the latest adaptor (with the DL-165), and they tell me normally my 2nd screen should run the maximum resolution (1920x1080), my best screen resolution remains 1600x1200... I tried sending an e-mail to DisplayLink support but never heard back - any thoughts? Thanks! |

Without log files to detail exactly the adapter you have and the monitor modes reported, I don't know why this is not working. Wim |
