Hi All,

DisplayLink support has been improving in every dev preview since the second one. We are still aware of some issues in USB (device not visible or not fully visible) for some specific devices and an issue in showing video on some systems.

We may need to provide an updated driver to work around some issues but in the meanwhile please keep the feedback coming: we need to be aware of all issues to push Apple towards the fixes.

When you report an El Capitan issue please specify the model of DisplayLink device and the model of Mac you are using.

Thank you!
Carlo

Yes, works with OSX El capitan beta4. Reinstall of the latest displaylink driver was needed.

@saudor and @luuk Which types of Macs are you running and which DisplayLink devices are you using?

I'm on a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014) with OS X 10.11 Beta (15A225f) and my DiplayLink devices (USB32DVIPRO and USB32HDPRO) aren't working.
Running DisplayLink MAC driver version 2.4.

When opening Preferences -> Displays my screens are recognized, but keep black / telling me they're not receiving any input.

Diamond BVU165 USB 2.0 and Macbook Pro 15" 2010. I had the black screen as well so i uninstalled the driver (using the uninstaller in the disk image) and reinstalled it. Seems to be working fine and better than Yosemite ever did. Im feeling it's even slightly faster than mavericks

Displays are not recognised on public beta 2, with 2.4 driver (uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted several times, with and without usb 3 plugged in)

on model D3100 on macbook pro retina 13" mid 2014

Hi,
I can confirm that the driver worked with Beta 4. However, I upgraded to Beta 5 today and my screen went black once more
I tried reinstalling driver 2.4 again, but no success

And I just had my laptop spontaneously rebooting whilst I was afk (kernel panic?)
after this, I get my 2 external screens to work, if the usb connector is plugged in at boot time.

I then updated to dev update 5, and all is still working.

Small issues:
- when I use an external logitech mouse, and I move the pointer to fast, the mouse freezes until I stop moving. Which is very annoying..
- the feature where the mouse pointer grows when you wiggle the mouse does not work.
