Hello,
There are some incoherence reported, and it makes it more complex to understand. Your Device Manager view reports that there is a DisplayLink Network Adapter NCM with proper drivers. However, when you look at all the network cards present with an ipconfig/all, the DisplayLink one is absent and all cards are disconnected. The reason for that would be if your DL card was deactivated in your Device Manager, but I can see this is not the case. I can see some issues on your USB communication during the enumeration of the network card. (that's the part where everyone introduces themselves on the USB: "Hello, I'm DL Ethernet and you can fetch my drivers as VID_17E9&PID_4305". To put aside any installation corruption, I would like you to use our installation cleaner. This will make sure nothing is left behind and you can do a clean reinstall using 7.9M3. Once you have done this, I would need a new log files to see if there are any more complaints in them. KB724494 - Cannot upgrade or uninstall DisplayLink software Would that be possible? Alban |

Yes.
I performed the following actions... 1. Ran the EndUserCleaner 7.9.723 2. Rebooted 3. Downloaded DisplayLink7.9M3 4. Disconnected all devices from the Dynadock 5. Disconnected the Dynadock from the USB 3.0 port 6. Ran the DisplayLink7.9M3 7. Connected the Dynadock when requested 8. Rebooted 9. Connected the monitor, USB keyboard, speakers, and ethernet cable to the Dynadock. All work except the ethernet connection. Rand the DisplayLink Support Tool 1.0.0.25. The files are attached. |
