Default A solution to igfxext Module is not working

REad my note above. I've spent hours fiddling with this idiocy.
But the solution suggested in the post above is simply to rename the file igfxext.exe to something like igfxext.dat. I did that this afternoon and the error message has disappeared. And my new X230 seems to be working fine. At least for now. A word: I reimaged my hard drive to factory install. Then I downloaded and installed the latest DisplayLink Windows driver....Then I renamed the file. More on this if something screws up. But for now, fingers crossed, I'm in good shape.
