Default maybe try this

Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (Version 1607)
along with
DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows 8.0 M2
did restore my DisplayLink control icon to the desktop’s systray, and its “Video Setup” option does lead to the Windows “Customize your display” window to access the “Display” choice and the “Multiple displays” offering, but that still offers only “Show only on 1” or “Show only on 2”. The desired “Extend” option does still not appear!

It is useful to know that the keyboard shortcut WINKEY + P delivers the “PROJECT” flyout which provides the useable functions “PC Screen only” and “Extend” for the USB attached second monitor.

Optionally also useful are the following commands that can be embedded as locations into new shortcuts to turn the extended DisplayLink USB device ON and OFF (respectively).

%windir%\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe /extend

%windir%\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe /internal
