I just signed up for the beta program. Since this is my first beta experience, i have a few questions... firstly will it spoil the other working application on the system? And when the actual release comes out, will we be able to download that official release? i ask this because from the Apple beta site, i downloaded a package which allows app store to download beta versions, when the official release comes out, will i also be able to download that? i don't want to keep running on Beta versions Regards Rahul |

They just released the official release of 10.12.1 today, so be sure to re-download/uninstall/install drivers for DisplayLink after update. |

It seems that most of the crippling usability issues have been solved, however the DisplayLink Manager is continually using almost 100% CPU now...
EDIT I've just restarted and it seems better now, although I can confirm that things like Mission Control cause the displayserver to crash and the user is logged out. Last edited by shad0wca7; 10-26-2016 at 10:25 AM. |

I have updated the Sierra FAQ with the status with 10.12.1: http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...cos-10-12-sier Shad0wcat I think we've got the 100% CPU issue nailed finally, we're working on that now. The next release should address it. Regards, Carlo |

Hi Shadowcat,
We have checked the first developer beta of 10.12.2 and we cannot reproduce the Mission Control crash anymore. Since this kind of issues is related to timings, the result may be different for different systems so would be great to know how it looks for everyone else. Also, the internal screen not waking from sleep seems to be OK now (only affected a few systems). Regards, Carlo |

Dear Carlo, I am still holding updating my Mac OS to Sierra (10.12) because of the problems. Do you mean the Sierra 10.12.2 will solve most of the issues even with your current driver (ver. 2.6)? If so, I can just wait for the official release of Mac OS 12.2.2 by Apple. Or, the issues can be solved only by the combination of Mac OS 10.12.2 plus your next updated driver (ver. 2.6.1 or 2.7)? If the latte is correct, please tell us when is the expected date of your release of the new driver?

I've only tried it a few minutes, but had no crash or logout swiping between desktops. |
