Macbook 2015 12inch Retina with USB-C

Just an update, this works upon restart. If I disconnect and reconnect it often fails, but sometimes works. The only way to fix it is to restart. Ideally it would be good if I didn't have to restart almost every time I reconnect to the dock. Is anyone else having a problem like this?
