In my case it seems that the reason for the problems was one of the last windows update on Win 10. Since I got another Windows update some days ago the "black outs" didn´t come back again.

Hello,
I'm afraid I don't have a brand or model specifically. If you take a cable which is supposed to work for high speed communication, you can hope it is of better quality. You can test for ESD by using the old way of lighting the gas hob: a piezzo gas lighter. A ferrite choke on the cable should also improve immunity as it is a filter. Kind regards, Alban

Hi. I have the same problem. I have a Samsung S27D390 monitor connected to a Dell M3800 via iTec USB 3.0 docking station. The monitor screen randomly goes black for a second, but device is not disconecting so I don't have to move windows back. Problem doesn't exist while the monitor is connected directly by hdmi. Issue occurs both on windows 8.1 and ubuntu 16.04. I replaced my hdmi calbe with a shorter and better one (with filters) - no effect. The only gas lift chair in surroundings is that I am sitting in, but I've tried and it doesn't affect screen in any way.
Is there any solution to this issue? ps. I'am sorry about any language mistakes, English is not my strength :< |
