Is this the work around you are talking about? If so, that is terrible, I have literally done that over and over again, it is very frustrating. I work in the IT field, and this little work around isn't the answer, the answer is to fix your software.
UPDATE: I finally got it to work. This is what I had to do. 1. unplug usb monitor adapter 2. uninstall the driver software 3. reboot 4. re-install the driver software 5. plug in the usb adapter again 6. repeat steps 1-5 3 more times. It worked on my 4th time through. It may take more or less for you, but maybe it will work eventually. |
