Good afternoon,
I've got more information on the request about using the INF to upgrade. My colleague confirms you would only add the new driver to the driver store without really any reason for the computer to pick it up. Therefore you would end up with two drivers, still using the old one and, if the user only partially force an update through device manager, you would end up with a potential firmware-host software version mismatch... TL;DR: Don't use the INF to update. Kind regards, Alban
