Post Problems on XP

I have a few annoying problems with my DisplayLink devices I was hoping someone could offer help with....

1) Periodically (usually though not always after waking up from hibernation), one of my USB displays will stop updating properly. The windows stay black until I trigger something that invalidates the window contents, upon which they get displayed for a little while, then they go black again. Resetting the device with a un/replugging resolves this for a little while.

2) Periodically (usually though not always after waking up from hibernation), one of my USB displays will start flickering madly. It sits there with a black screen, and occasionally I can see the desktop. All the while the desktop functions normally - I just can't see it properly.

3) Most of the time when you plug the DVI cable in before the USB one, the device doesn't initialise correctly. Doing it the other way around works fine. It'd be helpful if this was made to work...

I have the displaylink support files available if needed (with advanced logged in use), but the log files appear to be obfuscated, so I can't try and identify what the problem is myself.

..correction. It seems restarting the displayLink service resolves the flickering...whilst unplugging it doesn't actually do so. Was just a coincidence. So it's a bug in the service when hibernating then

...or not, as it's just started doing it again. Perhaps doesn't like the screensaver?
