USB3.0 seems to be working, in fact all the usb ports seem to be working.

Here's a screenshot of a tool I found on the internet that reports what USB devices are detected and at which protocol version they're communicating.

  • E:\ is a usb 2.0 memory stick connected to one of the ports in the front of the dock (ports 6 and 7 are the 2 front ports)
  • D:\ is the built-in dock storage
  • F:\ is a USB 3.0 portable hard drive connected to one of the two USB 3.0 ports. The "S" in the icon shows that it's working at USB 3.0.

Ports 2 & 4 on the USB3.0 hub connected to the laptops root USB 3.0 hub at port 15 are the two USB3.0 ports on the dock.

When I connect a network cable to the dock it's LED's light up. Seems like at least the link comes up.
