Thank you Vansen - that is an interesting article.
I have some good news with my case - I have found a work-around by disabling any additional Outlook Add-Ins. We have one for Mimecast and another for a Document Management system. Having either one of these or both enabled causes the issue on the USB Screens with Outlook. I am going to speak to O365 support as I believe there is a newer version of O365 C2R Office than the one I have installed - hopefully this may be something they have already tackled........ |

.... I have another update, it would appear that when the laptop is un-docked then re-docked, and Outlook is then re-opened, then dragged from the 4K laptop screen to the USB monitor, it has the same Outlook distortion as before.
The difference is that with the Add-Ins disabled, you can close and re-open Outlook on the USB monitor and Outlook is then usable. On a side note, does the DisplayLink system support 4K monitors attached to it? |
