Hi All,

Quick update. We (think we) have found out where everything breaks. It's a pretty fundamental change, probably linked to the eGPU hot plug functionality.

Now we "just" have to find a way to overcome the issue. How hard can it be!

I also had my DisplayLink stop working with the last 10.13.4 Beta, which was a bit of an annoyance, but I was pleased to find that I wasn't the only one.

I'm happy to report that with the latest 10.13.4 Beta (17E150g) update the problem seems to be resolved. It came out in the last 12 hours.

I'm using a USB-DVI on an older Mac mini, and I'm very pleased to have back the use of the second monitor.

This update didn't solve my issue unfortunately. Anyone else have any success with the latest beta?

Just to follow up to my own post, what Beta giveth, Beta taketh away. I'm on the 17E170c build and alas I'm back to using a single monitor.

Yes, how hard can it be?

Such a long time with no results shown. If I'd put away $25 per week since that post I'd be able to buy a really nice eGPU solution by now.
