Hello Mudpie,
The CD shipped has most likely ancient software. Good thing it didn't install on that Windows version. Let's try something else. From the ZIP version available in http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1165 Decompress it, then got to the machine folder DisplayLink USB Driver Package for Windows Preinstall (.INF) 8.5 M1\WinRS\x64 Right click on dlidusb.inf and select install. Then, plug in the device to your machine. Kind regards, Alban
