Does anyone know any workarounds to this issue?

I have done some more tests and looks like there is something new in 2018 model laptops which have not been looked after in all DisplayLink versions of Mojave.

This is what I did -
- Created a bootable copy of my MacOS on an external hard disk
- Used the external hard disk (i.e. my MacOS) to boot my colleagues 2017 laptop
- Tried the USB dock and voila!! ...it worked as it should (have attached a screenshot hereby, her is a link too.)

Since my exact OS worked on my colleague's laptop, I can rule out any misconfiguration at my end. It has definitely something to do on the new 2018 laptops.
