Putting any other factors aside for the moment, the model monitor you mention having has an option setting within the on-screen display called, "HDMI ULTRA
HD Deep Color" This setting must be 'On' in order for 4K@60Hz to work via HDMI input. LG calls this out in page 23 of the manual for the display here -> https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-27UD88-W |

First of all, thank you so much for the support and for such a quick answer. I really appreciate it.
The thing is ... following your advice I could make the screen work for 4k and 60 Hz (apparently). And I say "apparently" because on Mac OS there's a horrible lag, so It seems that the screen keeps working at 30 Hz. This is not happing on Windows 10: everything works like a charm on Windows 10. So ... I don't know ... maybe is a driver issue. Any idea or suggestion? |
