Hello Kyle,

What I found is that the dock has a problem. It's missing devices on the bus. Before Windows selects a driver, it has to be told there's a device to find a driver for...

The chip you're referencing is one of the other chips in the dock. It's the overall controller of the dock.

Has this product ever worked?

Kind regards,
Alban

Hello Kyle,

I would like to start recommending you use their flasher again.
I strongly suggest you follow all the rules they express: disconnect everything from it except power.
You must use the Type-A plug, as this needs to update the Type-C controller.
Then, you must disconnect the power, wait a couple of seconds and reconnect it.

At that stage, I recommend you run the flasher again. It will tell you the versions present of the different controllers. You can see if all components are present, and up to date or not.

Should this fail, then I can give you some explanatory text you can use to contact Dell technical support to discuss a replacement.

The utility version A02 is available from:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/uk...-d6000/drivers
You should have 5 entries in the Firmware Information box when the executable runs.

Kind regards,
Alban
