Can you try 5.1 release we published few days ago? If you still encounter the problem, please provide logs captured by our support tool.

So it seems you now have problems with audio even with the driver uninstalled?

Can you try resetting the SMC and NVRAM and see if the problem goes away?

I tried resetting both but unfortunately the problem still persists. After numerous times of re-installing Mac OS clean and testing I seemed to have solved the problem by performing a TM recovery by leaving out all the apps. Now I'm very hesitant to try the 5.1 version TBH...
