Having a similar issue using 2 monitors, windows 10 and a Dell laptop. Monitors are disconnecting and connecting approximately every 5 to 10 minutes.
Are there any suggestions? I have run the Display Adapter support tool and there is no compatibility issues reported. |

I am having the same problems.
When I have the DisplayLink Display Adaptors plugged into the Type-C docking station it will disconnect some but not all monitors and various times throughout the day. Now when I have them plugged into the directly plugged into the USB on the X1, I don't have these issues. I have attached the Tool download that it created. The last time it happened was last night between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. |

Hello Dsheridan, others,
I've created bug report, but I'm afraid it looks like your docking station has issues on the USB hub if the adapter works properly when connected directly to the laptop. Can you confirm what model it is? Is it Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt dock? If you don't know, you can give me a web link and I will recognise it. These aren't our technology, but we have some in our labs anyway. Kind regards, Alban Ref 30806

It does not happen when plugged into the laptop directly.
