Black screen, 2019 MacBook Pro 13, dell d6000

I have tried all different combination s and different driver downloads and I cannot get the DP to read as a screen at all. My brother has the exact same setup that I do but he is running Mac OS 10.14.3 and drive 5.1 and I'm running 10.14.6 and driver 5.2. This is frustrating and time consuming

Hi. I have been in contact with DisplayLink and they should be pushing a new driver eventually to hopefully patch this problem. From what I have found with my testing it is only a 13" 2019 Mac Book Pro problem and not a Mojave issue. To get it to work as intended I have found that if you do a SMC reset every time you plug the dock in and it should work fine until its disconnected again. Hope this helps.

I got the monitor set up last night but today, besides the initial home screen flashing for 4 seconds when I plug it in it is not working today? Any ideas? Tried SMC reset, different USB A drive ... Reloaded the driver ... Nothing!

I am having the same issue. I upgraded my macbook pro 15" 2017 this weekend to OSX Catalina GoldMaster and the newest DisplayLink beta driver. Using USB-A dock to USB-C Macbook.

Mionitor stays black. I am using 'Disable Monitor' application to set my resolution, this program can see the monitor, set the resolution, but still it stays black (not active, going to sleep).

Same issue with 5.2.1 and 5.2 on macOS Catalina.

2016 MacBook Pro (non-touchbar) and Dell D6000 with USB-C to USB-A adapter attached to a powered hub.

The issue is fixed for me by uninstalling 5.2(.1) and reverting to 5.1.1

With the old 5.1.1 driver I have both screens available and working the same as it did in Mojave.

Tried lots of things with 5.2 and 5.2.1 to no avail.

reversed to driver 5.1.1, My 4K monitor is now working, but the resolution is off. I can't see the dock, its somewhere below my monitor.. I guess I have to wait for the updated driver..

Reversed to 5.0.1, now everything seems OK on Catalina

I am having the same issue on my Dell 2400: the system sees the monitor--the dock even moves to that window--however, the screen stays black.

First of all. There is new macOS DisplayLink 5.2.1 beta 2 driver. Please make sure to have it installed: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1433

Secondly, Can you please follow that instructions? Does any of them helps you?
