Just installed the version that was just released (5.3). Unfortunately, it's even worse now. Screen disconnected after around 30 minutes and this time I even got logged out and lost my work that wasn't saved.

Is there ANY update on this? Unfortunately I didn't get any feedback from DisplayLink, my logfiles were simply ignored.
At the moment, I simply stopped using the laptop on the D6000. While the peformance problems were solved by activating the internal display under Ubuntu LTS 20.04, the display still disconnects from time to time. Even worse, sometimes I am simply logged out of my X session and I lose all unsaved work. Because of that, I simply stopped using the Docking Station.

Hello,
Excuse late response, to correct the problem you need to comment out "load-module module-suspend-on-idle" in /etc/pulse/default.pa: #load-module module-suspend-on-idle Let us know if the issue persists. Thank you, Katarzyna

Thanks for your feedback! I commented the line and restarted, let's see if that solves it.

Can already report back:
This does NOT solve it. After only 15 minutes, I was suddenly logged out of my Session again and landed back on the login screen. All applications closed, all unsaved work lost ![]() ![]()
