I have observed unusually high CPU as well.

Hovering at 90% over here.
Saw posts/replies from 2016 sayin this was a beta issue that would be resolved. Now we're in 2020 and still no fix? Absolutely ridiculous. I'm legitimately considering just using one monitor from my Mac's dedicated port rather than this broken software, which basically renders itself useless. The whole point of having multiple monitors is productivity, which is completely negated by a CPU with no headroom. Fix your software DisplayLink...If you can't, you shouldn't market yourself as a solution to this problem. |
