Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

If you are using a DisplayLink Manager v1.0 or v1.1 then its current limitation is lack of Clamshell mode support (aka Closed lid). This functionality is available in legacy drivers only.

Please check the following article for more information: https://support.displaylink.com/know...ntroduction-in

If you wish to revert to classic driver you need to uninstall DisplayLink Manager and install driver 5.2.5 available under the following link: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1636

Instructions how to revert to classic driver are included in the first article that I linked.

Best regards,
Katarzyna

Default Not normal

It is not normal to offer a feature in n - 1 instantiation of your software and then remove it from the current revision. You just dont do it to your customers. Period.

Thumbs down Please fix

I'm having this same issue - at first for some reason the DisplayLink Manager was recognizing my laptop as open, and then suddenly I had the exact same issue as the OP. I don't have room for my 2 monitors AND my laptop to be open. Please add clamshell mode support.
