Mac Pro no longer boots under 10.15 with Asus MB169B+ as primary monitor

OK, so after restarting and testing a few more times, the DisplayLink Software asked be to install another driver which I did.

So now when I restart using only the Asus USB Monitor, I do see the login screen.

But after logging in, the screen is blank. Does anyone know how to fix this?
