DisplayLink Manager: where's the UI?

I finally found it -- it's in the menu bar, right side. That isn't really made clear in the docs.

Please check in the left top corner if you see an icon of two monitors overlapping each other. This is the user interface which should have a check box to allow the application to start automatically when you log in and then there should be an option to download and install the login screen extension.
