Exact same thing here, except removing Screen Recording permissions doesn't do anything. Just happened this morning after DisplayLink updated. Hope they fix this soon.

It looks like Alpha version 1.8.0 is patched for this issue.
I might be speaking too soon since I've just tried a pre-recorded event that I know wasn't working before, but it looks promising. I will need to try a live event this weekend and let you know. |

I just tested out 1.8.0alpha and can confirm it did NOT solve this issue. I am trying to use Udemy and it still outputs a blank video.
Come on @displaylink you really need to get this solved. Work with apple to not make the computer think its screen is being recorded when it is really just outputting a display. This would help with notification settings as well. |
