M1 2019 MacBook Air not detecting DL

One is an ACER monitor and the other is a Viewsonic.

When I go to the system preferences to turn on the screen recording DL is not listed as an option. That is what led me to the compatibility question.

Hello,

Screen recording request may not pop up if you do not connect any DisplayLink devices to your computer.

Do you have any docking stations or adapters powered by DisplayLink to connect those two monitors?
How are those monitors connected to your computer exactly?
Or perhaps those monitors have DisplayLink chip in them?
