BUG: External Monitors Don't Sleep While In ClamShell Mode

ventura 13.0.1 and latest displaylink and I have the same issue

closing the lid the two displaylink external monitors turn off for a minute then they come back on

Can also confirm same issue exists still on Ventura 13.2, latest displaylink driver on an Intel Mac too.

Unfortunately not. I have the option to Powersave all monitors while in clamshell disabled.

Adding to this thread - mine don't sleep either, although this bothers me less than them not waking up. I posted a thread here.

I see from the posts here that this issue is agnostic to types of monitors, docks, and OS versions. Everything was working as expected up until a few months ago, when I upgraded the DisplayLink software, but the version I was using prior was installed in 2023.

Has anyone been able to contact support and get some kind of explanation of why this bug has not been fixed in checks date 3 years?
