You can do so by following these steps: 1. Click on the 'System Settings' icon (looks like a gear) in the macOS 'Dock' at the bottom of your screen 2. Within the System Settings application that appears, scroll down in the list of items on the left-hand side and click to select the option 'Privacy & Security' 3. Within the list of items that now appears in the right-hand side of the System Settings application, scroll down in the list of items and click to select the 'Files and Folders' option. 4. Once within the 'Files and Folders' option, you should see a list of items presented. Please click on the right-facing arrow next to each entry that is present in order to expand the setting for that entry. 5. Check to ensure that under the 'Installer' item that the location of the DisplayLink Manager Application file is both listed and enabled using the toggle switch. For example, the 'Downloads Folder' location. This is important, because if the permission to access the file has not been granted to the Installer application then that can cause problems. |

Same problem as other posters.
And when I goto System Settings --> Privacy -->Files and Folders, I didn't see INSTALLER icon so I could not enable it to have full disk access. Then I found there was a separate option within Privacy for Full Disk Access and then I found Installer icon there. So now it installed but it still does not work to drive monitors. I already checked Privacy --> Screen Recording to verify that DisplayLink Manager is enabled. Running Mac M1 Pro with Ventura 13.2.1 I didn't have this problem until I updated to latest version of Ventura. Last edited by dobledisplay; 02-16-2023 at 10:38 AM. |
