log file location and size
Self answering because the data may be useful to others.
Activity monitor | Displaylink manager | (i) info | "open files and ports" Showed log files open in this directory /Users/<myusername>/Library/Group Containers/73YQY62QM3.com.displaylink.DisplayLinkShared/Library/Application Support/Logs/ After being verbose for maybe an hour the director was about 3Mb in size... seems like it'll be ok to leave live until I manage to reproduce. Im still interested in hearing of any useful steps to try when i get the problem. |
