Question Mac pro working very slow

Hello
my setup: m1 14 pro + x2 Dell U2720Q + x2 DP cables connected + Logi mx3 mouse keyboard (BT)
(DisplayLink SW latest version installed)

OS: macOS 14.7

Currently, I tried to work with Belkin Display Link dock, beside the scale macOS issue (4k monitors working in 1920x1080 mode) and i feel small mouse glitches between the monitors and overall slow performance. (i.e: i disconnect the mac from dock and open the lid, mac seems to be stuck and take a few moments to return to normal and start to respond)

** tested also on Mac m2/3 pro --> same **

this is normal experience? if not what we should do?

Default Have the same issue

I feel like i am having the same issue here.. Have an ProKord docking station with two acer displays and MacBook Pro M2 Max, and mouse gestures feels slow and "laggy".. For example, dragging a window on the screen is not a smooth feeling, and making text marked, is also not streamlined..

I sometimes believe that if a choose another USB-c port it works better (or maybe it is the disconnect/connect that does it)..

I was all about thinking that it was the ProKord docking station that was crap (have already sent one back for other issues) but after reading this i am sure it is this software.

it's for sure the SW. i really surprise that the big Apple didn't have native solution for this yet

Any update on this issue? We have 50 of the DisplayLink 4K UD-6950Z, and the response time on the display is horrible. The accuracy of the mouse on the monitor is off and the response time is pretty bad. When you move the mouse back and forth, you can see the mouse stuttering from one location to the next.

This only appears to be with the Mac OS. I have the same dock on a 4k display and I'm not experiencing any of the slow response time or mouse inaccuracies.
