Same issue with my Dell, every time i try to share screen the same red border + controlls that my laptop screen can show the display that the DisplayLink is connected to is not showing.

Any update for this issue ?

If the original manufacturer of your DisplayLink-based product has not been able to assist you, then I would suggest reporting the issue directly to DisplayLink by following the process outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink

I reported this to them months ago and they replied and released a new version to try and solve it. It didn't work and now they seem to have given up. I've tried chasing on the ticket i reported on but i don't get a response. Guess they don't care.

Hello. We have been experiencing this issue since last year as well with macOS Sequoia. I just got a notification for an update for DisplayLink 1.12.0 but it did not fix the issue on my device.

According to this thread, it seems it will be solved on next release, end of june??

Let`s hope that 8 months later this will work again not requiring version downgrades.

Just tested version 1.12.4 on macOS Seqouia and still showing the same issue.

MacOS 15.6 has come out, still same issue. I only have this problem with my Targus DV4K universal docking station. The doc at my company office works fine. It's definitely displaylink working with certain hardware it would seem.
