Hi,
The DisplayLink Manager software and docking station does not force the Do Not Disturb feature in macOS to be enabled in any way, so I would start by checking the settings to make sure it is definitely not enabled. Perhaps the Intelligent Breakthrough and Silcening option is enabled.

Hi,

I've been experiencing the same behavior on two different MacBook Pros, a 2017 Intel model and a 2024 Silicon, and two different docks, a Dell UD22 and a Dell D6000. Anytime I connect or disconnect it enables Do Not Disturb mode. I've checked all the settings related to it (walked through it with Apple support to double check) and there's nothing on the Mac side which is turning this on. It's got to be something with the DisplayLink dock.

Hello pcwilcox,

The DisplayLink Manager app and docking station do not have the ability to automatically enable the Do Not Disturb feature in macOS. I recommend reviewing your system settings to ensure that Do Not Disturb isn’t being activated unintentionally on your Mac.
