Hi,
I have an update: the issue is now resolved. I am not sure what cause this but here's the lowdown: - The USB-C cable that was working for the MBPro and MBA M1 did not work for the MBA M2 - I've first tried an USB-C -> USB-A adapter -> USB-C and it worked - So it goe me thinking there was an issue with this specific cable and my MBA M2. I've tried other cables, they all worked on all machines. You might argue it was an issue with the cable then. How come the first cable worked fine with the MB1Pro and MBA M1 then? I cant make sense of this. Anyway, hope this will be helpful for someone. |

Hi edelwe1ss,
I'm glad you were able to solve the problem. We have indeed seen instances of problems with the USB-C cable included with the ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C with USB-A adapter dock. Hence, replacing the cable with another one may be the solution. I would also recommend looking in the System Report to see if you are sure the docking station enumerates as USB3 and not USB2.
