Hello Johatam,
You are welcome! Sure, you can use both of these cables for your docking station.

Hi Marta,
the problem is still present. I saw a post above me about the Apple update 15.3.1, has the DisplayLink team already solved the problem? Since my Mac mini with the docking station still has the same problem as before. EDIT: Never mind, I found a solution - 1. sudo find / -name "*windowserver*" 2>/dev/null | tee ~/Desktop/windowserver_files.txt 2. delete it 3, Use the cleaner from display link and reboot - then install the newest Display link driver. 4. It should work now - additionally... check your cable if it is usb c 2.0 or 3.0 Best Regards Last edited by johatam; 03-28-2025 at 12:32 PM. |

Hi, I’m experiencing lag issues with my Mac Mini M4 when using the Targus DOCK180EUZ docking station (https://www.targus.com/za/universal-...wer-dock180euz).
I attempted to resolve this using terminal commands, but the problem persists. I’m running OS 15.4 and have the latest DisplayLink software with the login extension installed. The lagging is significant even before logging in, making it difficult to select a user. After logging in, the issue continues, especially when switching between desktops, viewing open windows, or performing any animated actions on the Mac. |
