Just want to note that the current version of BetterDisplay has an experimental option that enables DDC control via the DisplayLink Manager app (the feature is turned off by default but can be enabled under the display's settings in the app + make sure you are running the latest DisplayLink drivers).

Yep, I confirm that in a collaboration with BetterDisplay folks such support has been enabled!

Note: this (experimental) feature no longer seems to work on the v16.0 version of the DisplayLink app - hopefully future versions will fix this issue.
