Unable to connect the Apple Thunderbolt Display and HDMI display simultaneously

2. You mention an 'Apple USB-C adapter'. My impression is that you are using an Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter --> https://www.apple.com/shop/product/M...bolt-2-adapter

Can you confirm this is correct?
