This is on a 2023 16” MacBook Pro with an M2 Max and 32GB physical memory running MacOS 26.1

Why do you keep asking for this screenshot when multiple people have told you it's not storage and even given you free space figures? Also being ignored is the fact that this issue has surfaced since the recent update

We treat users individually, never putting everyone in the same bucket, as mentioned previously:

My follow up requests are based on experience where a user had a lot of free disk space but this was total free disk space, while what matters is free disk space on the partition where the OS resides. Hope this context helps and I hope we will find a solution for your problem
