If you're using DisplayLink for MacOS try to follow these steps that worked for me (2/6/2026):
1. Quit & ReOpen - Go to Screen Recording and try to "Quit and ReOpen" your DisplayLink Access. 2. FileVault - Make sure your "FileVault" encryption is turned off 3. Reboot - Restart your laptop After rebooting your laptop, DisplayLink should recognize your monitors again. I hope this helps! |

Thank you, for sharing your experience.
Just to note: FileVault can be enabled, but in such case DisplayLink screens won't work on your login screen at boot. Regards, Szymon |
