Serious lag to the point that it is unusable and very unstable.

This would confirm the problem is not related to low processing resource when the issue occurs. Would you be able to:

• Capture a video when the issue is active - preferably high fps, e.g. "slow motion" if recording with iPhone. I guess the video file will be to large for an email, so some file sharing service will be required.
• Collect logs following this FAQ: https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink and send to technical-enquiries@synaptics.com
