Hi!
I have a travel dual monitor (Xebec tri screen) that uses a DisplayLink adapter to show both screens on macs. I have tried it with my new Neo Macbook that just arrived -- and doh, it doesn't work. When I plug in the adapter, I can see the displays become active, the driver sees them, but then it starts going into a cycle of them disappearing, appearing, almost working, then turning off again. Before I go off trying some other DisplayLink adapters and monitor combinations, could anyone else confirm they have been successful with one of these new affordable laptops? It looks to me like there might still be some issues to resolve with this new hardware. Thanks! Greg |

Thanks for your feedback. We've been testing new MacBook Neo with a variety of DisplayLink devices - no issues specific to this platform have been identified. What's more it performs surprisingly well with 2x extra DisplayLink screens.
Please verify if the power requirements Xebec tri screen can be met by MacBook Neo. You can try connecting via USB hub with external power source. Regards, Szymon |
