Using DisplayLink puts my Mac in Do Not Disturb mode

It’s not actually Do Not Disturb mode. macOS is detecting that DisplayLink is sharing or recording the screen, so it automatically suppresses notifications, the same way it does when you’re sharing your screen in Zoom or Microsoft Teams. This is meant to prevent private notifications from appearing while your screen is being shared.

You can allow notifications while sharing or mirroring your screen in macOS Settings, but keep in mind that enabling this will also make your notifications visible during screen-sharing calls.
